When You Doubt You’re Qualified

Scripture:

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)

Reflection:
Feelings of inadequacy creep in even when we’re called to great things. But God isn’t seeking credentials—He’s seeking willing hearts. In your weakness, His power shines brightest.

Practical Steps:

  • Own your story. List past moments of God’s faithfulness—times He helped you overcome challenges.
  • Embrace vulnerability. Share your fears with a trusted mentor or peer; allow community to bolster your confidence.
  • Activate grace. When doubt whispers “you’re not enough,” remind yourself: “God’s grace is perfect in my weakness.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your strength is sufficient and perfect in my weaknesses. Teach me to rely on Your power, not my performance. Amen.
