Scripture:
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
— Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
Reflection:
You’ve felt that spark of inspiration—a vision or calling stirring in your heart—yet you remain frozen at the starting line. It’s not a lack of desire; it’s the gap between idea and action that feels too wide. Often, what we call “stuckness” is really caution, perfectionism, or waiting for the perfect conditions. But God doesn’t require you to have every detail mapped out before you move.
Practical Steps:
- Identify your pause point. What’s the very next physical step—an email to send, a sketch to draw, a call to schedule? Write it down and place the note where you can easily see it.
- Reframe the waiting. Use this season to pray and journal. Ask: “What is God teaching me in this pause?”
- Trust the promise. Commit that next step to the Lord in prayer, then act. Watch how He begins to establish your plans.
Prayer:
Lord, I surrender this next step to You. Help me trust that as I obey, You will guide and establish my plans. Amen.
