Meet KaSundra Anderson, Celebrity Nail Stylist, Esthetician & Founder of Nail Spa Haven

 

 
One of the first lessons we all learn on our respective spiritual journeys is that life is a gift from God and we must use it to be in service to others. KaSundra, the Georgia-based owner of Sol Oasis LLC, models this ideal perfectly through her business Nail Spa Haven. KaSundra has been serving the Atlanta, GA area for 12 years at Nail Spa Haven where she provides a privately exclusive treatment experience to her guests who often need a quiet sanctuary for a bit of love, pampering, and a moment for self. In opening her spa, KaSundra was motivated by God to transform her hobby into love and passion and into the nail business to touch the lives of girls and women by creating a space where they can relax and in self-love.

Often, we are so caught up in our daily lives, whether that be working or taking care of family and loved ones, that we forget the importance of taking care of ourselves. Research shows that women are much more likely to put themselves last in an effort to nurture and pour into others. This behavior is proven to be detrimental to one’s health. Acts of self-care, such as those provided by KaSundra at her nail spa, help to remind women that they too are special and deserve to be treated as such.

Driven by her love and kindness for others and her nurturing spirit, KaSundra has remained steadfast during her journey as a business owner. Running the nail spa has not always been an easy feat and KaSundra has definitely faced her share of challenges and obstacles along the way. In one way or another, we are all resistant to change, something that proved to be KaSundra’s biggest obstacle. New developments near her salon forced her to have to move her location, which caused a disruption in her client base and operations. Further, she faced challenges with earning enough income or proving creditworthiness which led to rejection and hearing the word “no” often.
 
However, KaSundra’s passion for this business and faith in God continued to motivate her and remain hopeful in her purpose. She also found motivation in a resource that was referred to her by a friend called The Game of Life and How to Play It. This audiobook helped her to recognize her thoughts and turn them into action. Ultimately though, KaSundra credits God for seeing her through her journey including all of the challenges and obstacles. Her faith helped her to never give up and continue to do her due diligence and, in turn, God rewarded her with family, friends, and clients to support her.

KaSundra’s next goal is to continue improving her personal and business credit. She is also working with a specialist to trademark her brand for both Sol Oasis LLC and Nail Spa Haven. Her biggest piece of encouragement to upcoming entrepreneurs would be to keep “faith in all things, cover it in the Blood of Jesus!” Continue to pray and remain positive, put in the hard work, and do your due diligence.
